What stays on your device

Your guesses, streaks and statistics are saved in your browser's local storage so you can come back to a puzzle. They are never sent to our servers. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Advertising

RouteGuess is free and paid for by ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalised ads in Google's Ad Settings, and learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used, so we can improve the game. It collects information such as your approximate location, device type and pages viewed. It does not identify you by name.

No accounts

You don't need an account to play, and we don't ask for your name, email address or any other personal details.

Children

The game is suitable for all ages and is used in classrooms. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
